My Batanes Dream Came True Part 2: Random Road Side View, San Carlos Borromeo Church, Chawa View Deck, Basco Lighthouse

Tuesday, August 30, 2011

We spent a fantastic week in Batanes. People ask me, is it really that beautiful? Yes. What can you do there? In a nutshell, you need to have an appreciation for nature because that’s what you’ll get. It’s a place for immense sightseeing where time slows down and things are simpler.

The locals say they know when people are tourists when the people are in awe of the view alongside the road. Haha

Talk about going high, then low, hot then windy Ibang level ang changes in altitude! Haha We'd go from the sea to the top of the mountain! It’s pretty surreal. Everywhere we went was food for the eyes! Busog pare. We couldn’t stop smiling!
